Leaves 6

Made for my art class - I took a big bag of maple leaves and spread them out evenly (which was a pain) on the floor of a small room at the top of the stairs. The leaves gave this normally barren room a bit of a tree-house feel, their color warming the room and their crunching sounds and sweet, dusty smell filling the room. As soon as the audience walked in they started kicking leaves around and smiling like kids, which was a great feeling for me. I'll certainly do this piece again, but next time I'll add more leaves and throw in a few branches.
