Old as butts.

It's been a few years since I've really updated this place, hasn't it.  I guess it's time to do a little dusting - put away some of my older stuff here and make room for new stuffs.

It's interesting going through this stuff right now, as the last time I updated this journal was two years ago - right before Anime Boston 2011 - and a year before my newfound artistic love, the band Steam Powered Giraffe.  This band has so heavily influenced my art in the past year that this place feels like a time capsule.  Perhaps in the time to come, I will revisit some of this stuff.  Perhaps not.  We shall see.

Lifey Things and Story Things

Looks like I'm am -not- in fact going into the Air Force any time soon, and will instead focus on finishing my degree.  I'm more than halfway to finishing, anyway.

Currently doing classes online, and applying to schools that aren't online classes so that I can have a life again.

Time away from my previous college has made me realize that I often overcommitted to things and overfilled my schedule because I was avoiding doing what I want to do, and since I can't do that now...  Looks like I'm left with working on The Devil's Grimoire (the name may be changed, we'll see) which I want to have at least written  by the end of this year.  I plan for it to be a webcomic, although I'm nowhere near the kind of skills I want for it.  The least I can do is get the story out of my brain and into existence, right?  And with only 3 online classes, now seems to be a good idea. :)

Oh!  And I will have a scanner again, soon. C:
